Every week on the Steph’s Business Bookshelf podcast I share the three big ideas from the best non-fiction books for people too busy to read them.

Maybe you’re like one of the many people who tell me that they really want to read books, but want to spend their limited time/energy reading, not choosing the books. And you definitely don’t want to waste your time with crap reads 👎🏻.

Which is why Steph’s Business Bookshelf Summer Book Club was born. Our long Aussie summers are a great excuse for taking some time off and immersing yourself in a good book. And what better way of doing that then having someone pick those books for you?

And unlike other book clubs, there’s no deadlines or rules. Read the books in the order you want, whenever you want, and then have a party with your fellow bookworms. What more could you want?

  • No! One of the best bits about SBB SBC is that you receive the books and can read them in whatever order, and at whatever speed suits you. We’ll be chatting about the books at the February virtual event, but it’s up to you what you’ve read (or not) by then. You do you boo.

  • Yes, unfortunately I’d be crap at choosing your next best fiction read (but I’d love any hot tips).

  • Fear not my travelling friend, the books will be sent using Sendle in late November so should arrive early December for most Australian addresses.

  • Yes - all three books are sent at the same time, so you don’t need to wait to get started on the next one.

  • Eurgh, me neither. The limited packaging I’ll use will be be enough to make it a nice experience without being excessive, and it will all be at-home recyclable. Delivery will be via Sendle, who are Carbon Neutral and a registered B-Corp. And no extra tat that you don’t need, promise.

  • Oh no! There’s no takesie-backsies in this set up, and part of the idea is to read some books you might not have picked up (which sometimes means some things you don’t love). I do encourage regifting or swapping books with other people you’re spending time with over the summer… Plus, this will give you something good to talk about at the end of summer book review party!

  • Eek! Let me know if this happens, the books are sent using Sendle who are usually pretty good at a) tracking and b) fixing stuff.
